A move-out clean is made for a home with nothing left in it. With the furniture and boxes gone, we can reach the inside of every cabinet, every appliance and every corner, and leave the house ready for the people moving in. Moving in works the same way: we clean before your things arrive, so you unpack into a clean home.
The checklist comes first
Before we book the clean, we go over the checklist with you, item by item, so we agree on exactly what will be done. We guarantee the completion of every item on that agreed checklist. It's the one guarantee we make, and we make it because the list is settled before we start. If something particular worries you, like the oven or a bathroom that needs extra attention, raise it when we go over the checklist so it's on the list.
What's on the checklist
Our standard move-out checklist is the starting point, and we agree any changes with you before the clean is booked. It covers:
- Kitchen: countertops, the sink, light fixtures, and the inside and outside of the appliances and cabinets
- Around the house: window sills, blinds, baseboards, doors and trim work, all wet-wiped
- Ceiling fans we can reach with a two-step ladder, and light fixtures
- Glass doors and the inside of the windows
- Floors vacuumed and mopped, trash emptied, cobwebs cleared
- Bathrooms: countertops, sinks, toilets, tubs and showers, mirrors and faucets, cabinets inside and out, doors and trim
Before the team arrives
- Take everything out of the cabinets, closets and refrigerator
- Leave the power and water on, so we can clean the appliances and the floors
- Move out anything you don't want left behind; we don't haul items away
- Let us know how the team should get in
It's easiest to book the clean for after the last load has gone, and before the new occupants, or your own things, arrive.
What isn't included
We don't offer junk removal, carpet cleaning, pressure washing or window cleaning, so leftover furniture, stained carpets and the outside of the house aren't part of a move-out clean. If the home has just been renovated, post-construction cleaning is the better fit. The estimate for a move-out clean is free, and we'll tell you what we can and can't include when we go over the checklist together.

Yes. We go over the checklist with you in advance, and we guarantee the completion of every item on it.
Does the home need to be empty?
It works best that way. Cleaning inside the cabinets, closets and appliances means they have to be emptied first.
Can you take away things the last occupants left behind?
No. Junk removal isn't a service we offer, so anything left behind needs to be cleared before we arrive.
Can you clean a home before we move in?
Yes. A move-in clean uses the same checklist, before your furniture and boxes arrive.
Do you clean the carpets?
No. We vacuum and mop the floors, but carpet cleaning isn't a service we offer.
